The U.S. government has halted inspections of avocados and mangoes in Mexico's Michoacan state over security concerns, affecting the biggest exporter of avocados in Mexico. This suspension is due to unresolved security conditions, although it won't affect inspections in other Mexican states. Mexican and U.S. authorities are working to resolve the issue quickly, while Mexican avocados shipment to the U.S. won't be obstructed as Jalisco is an exporter and many Michoacan avocados are already in transit.
