Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has admitted to violating U.S. espionage laws as part of a plea deal with the U.S. Department of Justice. In exchange, Assange is expected to be sentenced to 62 months in prison, equivalent to the time served in the UK, and he has left the Belmarsh Prison in the UK after being detained for 5 years.
