To cultivate a population of consumers for arts and culture, the Ministry of Culture has been distributing 'cultural currency' to young people aged 18 to 21 since June 2023, which can be used for purchasing books, watching national films, attending exhibitions, and engaging in cultural experiences. The deadline for its use is approaching by June 30, so recipients are encouraged to act quickly. As of now, 86.7% of the eligible youth have claimed and used this $1200 cultural benefit, showcasing their enthusiasm for cultural activities. The Ministry also provides tips for smartly utilizing and maximizing the remaining points, promoting various cultural experiences such as museum visits, bookstore discounts, and discounted theater and movie tickets.
