Two men identified by their surnames, one driving a red car and the other a pink one, were caught by police in Miaoli while driving on Route 3 with their license plates covered by fabric covers to dodge speed cameras. The bright colors of their cars attracted public attention, leading to a report to the police. The drivers admitted to covering their plates to avoid being caught by speed cameras in certain areas. They were fined between NT$2,400 to NT$4,800 for violating traffic regulations. Police remind drivers to comply with traffic rules and not attempt to deceive authorities.
