On June 29, 2024, during the RIMPAC military exercise in Hawaii, a team from Sanli News Network boarded the USS Carl Vinson, the largest ship in the exercise carrying up to 5000 crew members and 60 military aircraft, including F-18 Super Hornets, F-35 fighters, and Seahawk helicopters. The commander of the USS Carl Vinson, which had also been near Taiwan in January, emphasized the mission to ensure freedom and openness in the Indo-Pacific region. The military exercise involves 29 countries and 40 warships and represents a significant moment of coordination and cooperation between the U.S. military and its allies.
