Reported about 18 hours ago

Vertu Motors, a British car dealer, has warned of a potential loss of up to £5.5 million ($7.4 million) in annual profits due to a cybersecurity incident affecting Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). The incident led to a six-week shutdown of operations at JLR, owned by Tata Motors, causing a 3.5% drop in Vertu's shares. Vertu, which operates 10 JLR dealerships, has reported an impacted profit of £2 million in September alone and is currently assessing its insurance options regarding the fallout.
