Kennedy Freeman, daughter of MMA fighter Ian Freeman, achieved a walkoff knockout victory against Gisele Libanio at Cage Warriors 172, with her father in her corner. After the win, Freeman expressed interest in a title shot, although her next move remains uncertain. Freeman, also known as "The Machine 2.0" in reference to her father's moniker, has a 5-0 record and a promising MMA career ahead. She had previously signed with Bellator in 2019 but never competed, and it's speculated that the split may have been due to the COVID-19 pandemic affecting Bellator's roster.
