Vietnam PM Praises Close Ties With US Amid Trade Talks

Following a recent meeting with US Ambassador Marc Knapper and a discussion with Warburg Pincus CEO Jeffrey Perlman, Chinh highlighted Vietnam's proactive steps in reducing taxes and increasing imports of American goods as efforts to foster a sustainable trade relationship. He noted that Vietnam's ties with the US are distinct from its relationships with other countries, even as it balances interactions with China.
