In Hanoi, Vietnam, the Taipei Fubon Bank branch manager Lin Jinyuan revealed that due to the US-China trade war and the New Southbound Policy, electronics factories have been relocating from China to North Vietnam, causing a shift in the center of Taiwanese investment from the south to the north. This trend is supported by factors like cost-effective transportation routes and similarities in political, economic, environmental, and cultural aspects between Taiwan and Vietnam. As a result, Taiwan has become a significant investor in North Vietnam, surpassing its investments in the south, especially in the electronics industry.
