Vietnamese-Taiwanese bride Nguyen Thu Hong revealed that many places in Vietnam eat dog meat, and she was surprised to find out that Taiwanese people don't eat it when she arrived in Taiwan. Despite growing up in an environment where eating dog meat was common, she now understands and accepts the cultural differences. She explained that in Vietnam, like pigs, dogs were used for various dishes, but due to economic circumstances, her family could only afford roasted dog meat during her childhood.
