Recently in Japan, there have been several reports of wild bear attacks, some resulting in fatalities. In Aomori, a couple encountered a bear while gathering bamboo shoots near the Acid Springs Hot Spring, resulting in the elderly woman being fatally attacked. In response, emergency bear warnings have been issued by the Aomori Prefecture government until November 30, as similar incidents have been reported in other areas like Gifu. Moreover, in Hokkaido, a wild bear was seen running on the railway tracks, prompting train officials to slow down and warn passengers not to open windows for safety.
