In Miaoli Tongxiao, Baishatun Guongtian Temple is a popular temple dedicated to Mazu, attracting a continuous stream of worshippers. In the surrounding street, there are numerous vendors and shops offering various items, creating a lively atmosphere. The most crowded stall in front of the temple is Aran Braised Dishes, offering over 20 types of braised dishes in a row for sampling before purchase. Each dish has a rich dark color and aromatic fragrance. Despite some online complaints about high prices and poor service, the personal experience was positive, with friendly staff members offering extra chicken liver to a child. While some found the dishes purchased to be slightly salty at home compared to trying them on-site, the braised dishes were flavorful and worth trying in person before deciding to buy.
