A 20-year-old volunteer soldier in the Coast Guard on duty collapsed while taking a shower, suspected to have been electrocuted and losing consciousness immediately. Upon arrival at the scene, emergency personnel reported that he let out a loud cry before passing out. The ambulance arrived at 7:35 pm and found the man had stopped breathing and had no heartbeat. He was rushed to Mackay Memorial Hospital for treatment, with the cause of the accident still under investigation.
