Volvo Cars plans to start production of a new hybrid model in the United States by the end of the decade to adapt to U.S. tariff policies. This move aims to enhance the capacity utilization of its South Carolina plant, which currently only produces electric models. As part of its strategy, Volvo has previously announced plans to increase U.S. production and maintain hybrids in its lineup, coinciding with its 70th anniversary in the country.
