Walmart has terminated its exclusive partnership with Capital One for issuing consumer credit cards. Despite the end of the partnership, cardholders can still use their Capital One Walmart Rewards cards and continue to earn rewards. Capital One will remain responsible for owning and servicing the credit card accounts. This decision follows legal disputes between the companies, with Walmart expressing dissatisfaction over Capital One's card processing delays. Walmart has yet to announce a new banking partner to replace Capital One.
