Major League Baseball and the players' association extended Wander Franco's administrative leave through July 14. Tampa Bay Rays' All-Star shortstop has not played since Aug. 12, as MLB investigates an alleged relationship with a minor. Being on administrative leave is not disciplinary, and Franco continues to be paid. MLB is expected to wait for the conclusion of the Dominican investigation before deciding on any potential discipline.
