On June 26, 2024, former Control Yuan President Wang Jianxuan and his wife celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by donating to six disadvantaged groups. Wang expressed his hope for Han Kuo-yu to run for president in 2028, praising his character. Han, however, modestly declined. The couple's charitable event aimed to raise awareness for various NGOs, with Wang also planning to establish a free elderly care center called 'Angels' Home'.
