On June 18, 2024, Wang Po-Chieh was caught drunk driving, crashing into a tour bus with a high alcohol level of 0.44mg during the breathalyzer test. He was brought to the police station for investigation and then transferred to the Shilin District Prosecutor's Office for public endangerment. It was revealed that he was driving his girlfriend Xie Xinying's car to take their pet dog Cooper to a pet store for a bath when the incident occurred. Wang had mixed whiskey and beer the night before, mistakenly thinking he was sober.
