Male star Wang Shaowei and sexologist Hsu Lanfang have been rumored to be in a relationship for over 2 years but have never confirmed it. During a TV show with Zhong Xinling, Annie Tsai revealed that Wang Shaowei has a girlfriend, which Wang did not deny. Even though being referred to as just 'good friends', their interactions on various occasions suggest otherwise. Wang Shaowei's response to the recent exposure was that he is prepared ('cuffs already on') and jokingly implied a need for an official certificate before confirming any relationship status.
