Wang Shih-Chien, a DPP legislator, criticized Guo Zhihui for being a 'nuclear mobile cannon' and urged Premier Tsai to restrain cabinet members' remarks. Premier Tsai emphasized that before continuing any discussion, it must be ensured that nuclear waste can be managed, nuclear safety guaranteed, and there is societal consensus. The issue was raised during a legislative session concerning Taiwan's energy strategy amidst the potential increase in electricity demand due to AI development.
