During the 'Anti-Authoritarianism, Democratic Protection' street briefing in Taipei held by the DPP, legislator Wang Shih-chien fearlessly spoke in Taiwanese under pouring rain, criticizing the KMT for not having a 'bluebird'. Urging the KMT to bring out the 'bluebird' to dissolve the parliament and call for a comprehensive re-election, Wang emphasized the need to avoid social unrest. He also denounced KMT for attempting to reverse pension and party asset reforms, while also dismissing criticisms made by the People's Party's convener Huang Kuo-chang. Moreover, Wang criticized Huang for misunderstanding DPP's stance on parliamentary reform and engaging in baseless debates with the KMT.
