To prevent escalating trade frictions between China and Europe, Chinese Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao and Vice Minister Ling Ji recently visited various European countries to communicate and lobby, holding several meetings between Chinese and European enterprises to urge both sides to resolve trade disputes through dialogue and negotiation for fair competition. Despite efforts, the European Union is reportedly considering imposing additional tariffs on Chinese electric cars, leading to concerns among Chinese enterprises operating in Europe. Wang emphasized the importance of fair competition and cooperation between China and Europe to achieve mutual benefits.
