Wang Yichuan, the policy chief of the Democratic Progressive Party, expressed gratitude to the Bluebirds for safeguarding Taiwan and its democracy outside the Legislative Yuan during a vote on expanding parliamentary powers. He called on both blue and white party legislators to heed the voices of the Bluebirds and the Taiwanese people, urging the unconstitutional and non-transparent articles to be sent back to committee for reconsideration. Wang also mentioned the complexities in the voting process and the potential for a constitutional interpretation if the revision proposal is rejected.
