During a DPP event in Keelung, Policy Committee Executive Director Wang Yichuan criticized the city mayor Xie Guoliang for spending 2.7 billion on electric scooters, suggesting the funds should have been used to subsidize buses instead. He voiced support for the demolition of Xie's actions, questioning the allocation of funds and emphasizing the importance of continuing to promote democracy and freedom in Taiwan. Wang also criticized the move as an abuse of power and stressed the need to uphold the rule of law.
