At the parliamentary reform review bill voting day, Wang Yichuan, the executive director of the DPP policy committee, appeared in parliament, opting not to answer media questions regarding allegations of using telecommunications data to identify individuals and whether his presence was meant to identify 'Blue Hawks' using his 'knees'. Wang Yichuan has sparked controversy for admitting on a political talk show to recognizing 'grass' and 'blue birds' by their mobile signals, leading to accusations of government surveillance on citizens. Despite repeated inquiries from reporters, Wang Yichuan remained tight-lipped and quickly left the scene, only briefly responding to party-related questions.
