A citizen group initiated a recall of Keelung Mayor Xie Guoliang, sparking speculations on potential candidates if the recall succeeds. Former DPP Legislator Shen Fuxiong bluntly stated that the DPP will not nominate High Jia-yu, instead naming his two goddesses, veteran media personality Zhou Yukou and senior artist Ding Guolin, leaving High Jia-yu out. High Jia-yu, on the other hand, acknowledged she is not a goddess compared to them. Shen Fuxiong praised High Jia-yu for being excellent, elegant, and noble, contrasting her with Zhou Yukou and Ding Guolin, and jokingly said that with Wang Yichuan's preference for the two goddesses, High Jia-yu has no chance.
