On June 17, 2024, Wanli Junior High student Hsu Haoteng met with President Lai Ching-te in Taipei. Hsu provided two suggestions to Lai, emphasizing practical courses only available in vocational schools and the need for more futuristic practical courses in technical universities. Inspired by NVIDIA CEO Wong Jen-hsun's innovative ideas on digital humans, Hsu expressed his aspiration to be like Dr. Lai in benefiting society and the country. Lai commended Hsu's academic achievements and urged him to excel as a robotics engineer. The meeting highlighted the importance of vocational education in Taiwan's evolving society amidst the AI era.
