A wanted fugitive in New Taipei City was caught and died suddenly, foaming at the mouth, after crashing into a taxi. The fugitive, identified as a 52-year-old man surnamed Li, was pursued by police after driving away from a drug-related charge. Despite attempts to restrain him, he suddenly became unwell, foaming at the mouth, and lost consciousness. Police suspect a heart attack or internal bleeding possibly caused by the chase or drug ingestion. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of death.
