Warmth Provided through Pajama Project and Fruit Distribution in Australia

Reported 7 months ago

In the Southern Hemisphere during winter, on June 13, 2024, South Auckland's Middlemore Hospital Foundation initiated the June Pajama Project, gathering winter pajamas for 15,000 children. New Zealand Tzu Chi volunteers donated one thousand sets to participate in this charitable act. In Australia, regular fruit distributions in Ipswich provide nutrition to residents in need. From floods in 2011 to the present, Australian Tzu Chi volunteers hold care distributions four times a year, extending care and love. Both in Ipswich and New Zealand, Tzu Chi volunteers continue their acts of giving, sharing warmth and love with those in need during the colder months.
