At a press conference of the Qing Niao Action, civil society groups Taiwan Citizen Front and Economic Democracy Union returned to the Legislative Yuan from 19th to 21st, warning the Kuomintang (KMT) against pushing 7 laws detrimental to democracy. The laws include establishing a parliamentary special investigation team, reinstating the defunct China Television, and more. The groups vowed to closely monitor the legislative progress and take action if necessary, indicating a potential return to the streets if the KMT proceeds with these laws.
