Warren Buffett has made his largest annual donation of $5.3 billion in Berkshire Hathaway stock to charity, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. This brings his total charitable giving to approximately $57 billion, with donations going to various family charities as well. The 93-year-old billionaire plans to give away over 99% of his fortune, which includes shares of Berkshire, a conglomerate with diverse business holdings. Buffett, along with Bill Gates and Melinda French Gates, also founded the Giving Pledge to encourage philanthropy among wealthy individuals.
