The Golden State Warriors acquired Buddy Hield from the 76ers through a sign-and-trade deal, forming a new duo alongside Stephen Curry known as 'Splash Brothers 2.0', as both players are among the top three-point shooters in the NBA from 2017 to present. With Hield's addition, the Warriors' outside shooting strength increases, as Curry and Hield have made the most three-pointers in the league during that period. Hield chose the Warriors over the Pistons and Lakers for better winning opportunities.
