Chicago Sky rookies Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso threw out the first pitch at Wrigley Field before the Cubs' game against the Braves as part of their press tour across Chicago. The two players, selected No. 3 and No. 7 in the 2024 WNBA Draft, have been actively engaging with the city since joining the Sky, with Reese even making appearances at events like the Met Gala. Cardoso has unfortunately been sidelined with a shoulder injury that is expected to keep her out for four to six weeks, while Reese has been performing well, averaging 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in her first two WNBA games.
