According to Taiwan TV News on June 23, 2024, the Central Weather Bureau stated that it will be hot and muggy this week with the possibility of afternoon thunderstorms. Starting from Friday, the wind will switch to southwest, bringing in more moisture. Today, the Pacific High Pressure weakens, with temperatures ranging from 33 to 35 degrees, potentially reaching over 36 degrees in some areas. Afternoon thunderstorms are expected in western areas, Yilan, Hualien, and mountainous regions. Residents are advised to take precautions against heatstroke, stay hydrated, and be careful of possible heavy rain and strong winds.
