Reported 8 months ago
In Kaohsiung, Taiwan, a female homeowner spent 3 million renovating her old house over 8 months. Just one day after completion, the water filter installation at her home was not secured properly, causing water to flow for 6 hours and damaging the newly renovated wooden floors, cabinets, and appliances. The homeowner was upset and demanded the company to take responsibility, while the company promised to improve their procedures and handle compensation through insurance. Properly installed water filter systems include leak protection, and installers usually stay on-site for at least 5 minutes after installation to ensure no issues occur.
