As a frontal system from the south of Zhejiang approaches Taiwan, unstable weather is expected today with brief showers in the western half in the morning and thunderstorms in the afternoon in northern and central regions, Yilan, Hualien, and mountain areas. Temperatures will rise, leading to a scorching heatwave with potential gusts of wind in some areas. The high temperatures, reaching 32-35 degrees, will continue through the week, with even hotter conditions in the coming days. Be cautious of sudden thunderstorms and scorching heat, especially in western areas where temperatures may exceed 35 degrees. Showers are expected to continue intermittently due to a northwest rain pattern, mostly in the north and east regions.
