WestJet Airlines in Canada is cancelling flights again as the union representing maintenance engineers rejected a new pay offer and issued a second strike notice. The airline anticipates around 25 flight cancellations impacting over 3,300 travelers from June 27-28. WestJet had offered a 22% pay increase over four years, but the union, Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), rejected it. Negotiations are ongoing to reach an agreement and avoid further disruptions.
