Sexually restricted individuals may benefit by imposing their strategic preferences on society, making casual sex more costly through means like restricting abortion access. This perspective also explains the association of anti-abortion attitudes with religion and social conservatism, suggesting that a restricted sexual strategy can motivate people to adopt these beliefs.
