The Chicago White Sox will pay tribute to former pitchers Lucas Giolito and Liam Hendriks with a video tribute on Thursday at Guaranteed Rate Field. Giolito, who pitched for the White Sox for seven years, was traded to the Los Angeles Angels in 2023 and currently plays for the Boston Red Sox. Hendriks, a fan-favorite who battled non-Hodgkin lymphoma, signed with the Red Sox for the 2024 season after the White Sox declined his option. The video tribute will be shown during the game instead of commercials.
