Washington Commanders running back Austin Ekeler married his wife Melanie Wilking in May 2024 after meeting on Instagram and getting engaged in August 2023. Wilking, a dancer with over 3 million followers on TikTok, gained fame alongside her sister Miranda Derrick but had a rift with her sister and family due to joining a management company that her family believed was a cult. Despite the family's struggles, Melanie and Miranda have somewhat reunited, with Miranda attending Melanie's wedding. Ekeler and Wilking got married in Las Vegas in May 2024 and plan to live together in Virginia during the season and Las Vegas in the off-season.
