During a press conference held by Hsinchu City Council, the widow of firefighter Lee Yong-zhen, who perished in the 'Clear Sky Exchange' fire last month along with another firefighter, accused the city government of shirking responsibility for the incident. She expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of accountability during the rescue process and insisted that those responsible should be held accountable. In response, Mayor Ko Hung-an denied the allegations and stated that the city government had completed the investigation into the fire and forwarded the findings to the judicial authorities for further action.
