A man from Taipei, Taiwan suspected his ex-wife was having a deep relationship with her hiking companion, and after questioning, she admitted to having an affair with the companion while climbing Yushan Mountain. This led to the husband suing the companion for damages. The court ruled in favor of the husband, awarding him a compensation of 100,000 NTD. The companion argued that they were just friends due to mutual interests, and there was no proof of being the ex-wife's affair partner. The court found evidence of the companion's interference in the marriage, leading to the compensation decision.
