During the premiere of 'Despicable Me 4' in New York City, Will Ferrell revealed his desire to be featured on the cover of PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive issue and began his campaign for it, suggesting that comedians should be considered for the title. He joked about his 'sexy villain' outfit and superpower, aiming to win over votes by humorously advocating for comedians to be recognized in such accolades, in contrast to his friend Paul Rudd who was named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive in 2021.
