On June 18, 2024, a convenience store manager in Zhuangwei, Yilan, reported to the police that during their absence due to illness, approximately 90,000 Yuan went missing from the store. Surveillance footage revealed that an employee from the late-night shift was responsible for the theft. Despite efforts, the employee could not be contacted, and the manager's family accused the employee, surnamed Zheng, of even receiving an advance of nearly 50,000 Yuan in salary.
