On June 17, 2024, at 3:35 AM, in Taipei, a man got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend and started shooting an air gun towards her residence during a dispute. A woman wearing truth pants tried to intervene and begged the man to stop by slapping herself repeatedly. The police arrested the man and two accomplices for intimidation, as the incident caused fear and disturbance among residents. The motive behind the argument and the shooter's actions are still under investigation.
