Several areas at the Nine Delegation Station of Taichung MRT were found defaced with graffiti of quotes by Master Hsing Yun. The perpetrator, a woman surnamed Chen in her 50s, was caught and later sent for prosecution for damaging public property. She claimed her actions were aimed at promoting Buddhism. Police investigated the incident, fearing potential provocations following a recent stabbing case at the MRT station, and identified the culprit through surveillance footage.
