At 1:20 am on June 11, 2024, at the Tainan Bus Terminal, a woman in her 40s was intercepted by the police after randomly attacking passengers. She was found not to be a local homeless person but just passing by the terminal with personal belongings. Despite her unstable emotions leading to the assaults and her complaint about the police being noisy, she could provide her family's contact number when asked. The incident, though alarming in a public area during daylight, did not result in severe injuries to the victims. The police pursued investigation into the woman for the assault, even though the victims did not press charges.
