A woman in New Taipei complained that during a surgery to remove a left breast tumor, the female surgeon made an incision in the wrong place, blaming the patient for not opting for a plasma knife. The hospital denied the mistake, explaining that the surgeon intentionally adjusted the incision for aesthetic reasons, leading to a misunderstanding. The hospital apologized for the poor patient experience and stated that a meeting would be held to address the issue and improve communication with patients.
