A murder case occurred in Sanchong, New Taipei City on the evening of July 9, 2024, where a 43-year-old woman named Liu was found by her mother lying at home with 7 stab wounds, and despite efforts to save her, she did not survive. Her husband, who lived with her, was a suspect and fled with their infant son after the incident. They were later found dead in a car on Masao Bridge in Yangmingshan. The woman was pronounced dead after being rushed to the hospital. Investigations are ongoing to determine the identities and causes of death. Neighbors mentioned recent family disputes but the connection to the stabbing remains under police investigation.
