A serious accident occurred in Taipei's Wanhua District where a woman was hit by a cement truck while crossing the road, resulting in her getting run over and sustaining severe leg injuries. Bystanders quickly reported the incident, and emergency responders had difficulties lifting the heavy truck to rescue the woman. The 61-year-old driver of the cement truck was found to be driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content of 0.11. The police detained the driver for investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
